Time-sensitive diagnosis?

Tell us in your request and we'll review your case first and ask hospitals for a fast opinion. Please keep talking with your own specialist, and don't pause treatment at home while you explore options.

Waiting doesn't have to be your only option.

Public healthcare is free, but the wait can run to months. Going private at home is fast, and often far more than most people can spend. There is a third way: fly to India, have a private attendant by your side, get treated, recover somewhere calm, and fly home.

  • Canada 23,746 patients died while still on a waiting list for surgery or a diagnostic scan, April 2024 to March 2025. Freedom-of-information data compiled by SecondStreet.org. Not every death was caused by the wait.
  • England 111,379 people had already waited more than a year for planned hospital treatment, out of 7.3 million cases on the list. NHS England RTT statistics, July 2026.
  • Australia ~47,000 people waited more than a year for public elective surgery in 2024-25 (6.0% of admissions). Median wait for a knee replacement: 209 days. AIHW, 2024-25. Count estimated from 6.0% of 791,000 admissions.

Rough estimates only. Real costs can go up or down depending on the hospital you prefer and your medical file. Treatment prices are as in the chart above. The travel estimate covers an economy return flight, a serviced apartment near the hospital for you and a companion, a 24-hour private attendant, meals, a car with a driver, and the e-Medical visa. For chemotherapy, it assumes you stay in India for the full course. Your real costs depend on your hospital's quote, your travel dates and who travels with you.

Healthcare shouldn't be harder to navigate just because you're abroad.

Treatment in another country means unfamiliar hospitals, visa paperwork, flights, somewhere to stay, and knowing who to call when you land. We bring those pieces together so you can focus on your health and your decision.

How it works

Five clear stages. You can stop at any point before you commit to travel.

  1. Day 0

    Share your case

Tell us what you need and, if you have them, recent reports or a diagnosis from your doctor.

    Free
  2. Usually within about 48 hours

    We review and consult

With your consent, we share your details with suitable hospitals in India for a medical opinion and cost estimate.

  3. At your pace

    You choose

We explain the options in plain language. You decide, with your own doctor if you wish. No pressure to proceed.

  4. Typically 1-2 weeks

    We plan your travel

Hospital invitation letter, e-Medical visa (often 3-5 business days), flights, pickup, accommodation and a local attendant.

  5. From arrival

    Treatment, recovery, return

Pre-treatment tests usually start within a day or two of arrival. We stay in touch throughout, then help with records and follow-up at home.

Typical timings, based on what Indian hospitals and medical travel services publish. Your case may move faster or slower.

What we do

What we help with

The practical side of treatment abroad, handled by one team so nothing falls between the gaps.

Hospital and doctor coordination

We identify hospitals in India that treat your condition, share your records with your consent, and relay their opinions, treatment plans and estimates.

  • Second opinions
  • Appointment scheduling
  • Treatment estimates
  • Questions answered

Medical visa support

Help obtaining the hospital's invitation letter and preparing your visa application. Approval rests with the Indian authorities.

Flights and transfers

Flight timing that fits your appointments, plus airport pickup and transport to the hospital.

Accommodation

Somewhere suitable close to your hospital, for you and anyone travelling with you.

Local attendant

A person on the ground to accompany you to appointments and help with day-to-day needs.

Recovery and return home

Support during recovery, travel home planned around your doctor's advice on when it is safe to fly, and your discharge summary and records collected so your doctor at home has what they need.

We do not make medical decisions. New Dawn Life Care does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Clinical decisions are made by you together with your treating doctors.

Why some patients consider India

India is one of several destinations for treatment abroad. It is not the right choice for everyone, and we will tell you if we don't think it suits your situation.

Accredited private hospitals

Many private hospitals are accredited by NABH, India's national hospital accreditation board, and some also hold international accreditation such as JCI.

Shorter waits, in many cases

Private hospitals can often schedule consultations and planned procedures without long waiting lists. Actual timing depends on the hospital and your case.

Costs that are often lower

Treatment costs are often lower than private care in many Western countries. Costs vary by hospital and procedure, so we work from written hospital estimates.

English in medical settings

English is widely used by doctors and hospital administration, especially in hospitals that regularly see international patients.

General information only. Please check a hospital's current accreditation directly with the accrediting body, and talk to your own doctor about whether travelling for treatment is appropriate for you.

Tell us what you need. We'll look at your case, explain your options in India, and you decide whether to go ahead.

Questions

Straight answers to what patients usually ask first. If yours isn't here, ask us directly.

Are you a hospital or medical provider?

No. We are a patient coordination service. Your treatment is provided by independent hospitals and doctors, who are responsible for all clinical decisions. We handle the arrangements around it.

Is the case review really free?

Yes. Requesting a review costs nothing and commits you to nothing. If you decide to go ahead, we set out in writing what is included and what it costs before you commit.

Which treatments can you help with?

We coordinate with hospitals across a range of specialties. Whether a hospital can treat you is decided by its doctors after reviewing your records, so the honest answer for any specific condition starts with a case review.

Can you guarantee results or final costs?

No. No one can guarantee a medical outcome. Cost estimates come from the hospital and can change if your treatment plan changes after you are examined. We will always tell you what an estimate does and doesn't include.

How does the medical visa work?

India offers a medical visa (including an e-visa option for many nationalities) for patients travelling for treatment, and a separate attendant visa for companions. It usually requires an invitation letter from the treating hospital.

We help you obtain the letter and prepare your documents. You apply through the official Indian government channel, and the decision is made by the Indian authorities.

Can a family member travel with me?

Usually, yes. Companions typically travel on an attendant visa linked to your medical visa. We can plan accommodation and transport for them too.

Who sees my medical records?

Only the hospitals you agree to. We ask before sharing anything, and you can ask us to stop at any time.

What happens once I am back home?

You leave with your discharge summary and records. Where the hospital offers remote follow-up consultations we help arrange them, and your records are ready to share with your own doctor.

Request a case review

Share a few details and a coordinator will reply by email. There is no obligation to go ahead.

  1. We read your request and reply to confirm we have it.
  2. We ask for any reports needed, and arrange a secure way to send them.
  3. With your consent, we consult hospitals and share their opinions and estimates with you.

All fields are required unless marked optional.

A short description is enough. You don't need a diagnosis to ask.

Preferred contact method
